OUT AND ABOUT : THE CONCERNS

BACK!

Today turned out to be rather a 'better' day for me; especially since i had wished for a little bit of fun this holiday. Of course this package came with a thing- an hour's travelling to our destination under the blazing sun. It was kind of a small gathering for us people who do not meet often, due to our hectic life. Even though the event was nothing grand, the meeting was really a time for bonding. After all, memmories are much more valuable than money- Money is not everything you know.

ISSUES :

So now, I'm currently listening to the BBC news on the radio, and the issue that strikes me is the issue of the Tsunami and Earthquack. Then the question: Was it the work of Mother Nature or Were we the indirect cause of these disasters? I'm really starting to wonder weather these disasters were caused by us; the excessive release of carbon has invoked the rise in global temperatue and the growing world population has challenged Man to come up with better ideas to feed our needs ranging from homes, jobs and agriculture. Of course, the growing population also urges for the world to be in balance; and those responsible for upholding the harmony and balance of the world, is only the individuals living in the world.

Saying that, the sumatra quack and the devasting waves that hit the islands of South Pacific only seems MORE of a disaster caused by us, Man rather than Mother Nature. It seems that Man has really grown to be a threat, rather than a bless for one other. No doubt that numerous disasters were inevitably caused by Mother Nature herself, but it cannot be denied that Man has played a role in sparking these upsets, indirectly. The challenge for people of this era : Save Earth, Save Lives, Everyone have a part to play.

Hence, make a difference today-play your part, promote awareness and save your world. Have a nice day. Bye.

Just Another Ordinary Day

And so here i come again blog!

Yesterday was supposed to be a day of fun but as i guessed, not as what i expected it to be. Yes of course it was dashain BUT really, I seriously my times in Singapore. Dashain was so much better there; food, people, ceremony etc. I remember everyone would go "JAI" during the offerings, with the gunshots at the background, everyone covering their ears. Memmories, oh what memmories.

Then there was today, just another tyical day. I could wish for something fun to do this holiday, instead of just using my free time to use the internet. People are scattered all over the country, with many of them at their respective home probably celebrating away joyously. Poor me. Anyone tell me something good to do?

Families. Every Family have a problem within them. I do, but i won't tell you. It's too much of a bother and really i wonder, Is there really a family without ANY problems?? If there is, i'd love to seek pointers from them. As every families are bound to be with problems, then, they have to resolve it as quickly as possible. It won't pay to delay the process of 'healing'. Many folks try to turn a deaf ear on problems they see as a threat but that is really, indeed an immature way of handling things- i'd rather counter the problems. And sadly for some, these problems are not problems that have been created by the members of the faily themselves; it's surprisingly by some people that really envies your family. What a joke, that group of people should REALLY get a life, don't you think? Creating problems for others- that's like an ageing saddist.

I guess it's about time i call it a day and head for the bed. But befor that, I would appreciate it if anyone of you readers could suggest a topic for discussion that may be benefical for you in your AS examination. Just TAG me.

Alright enough said. I'm off. Good Night readers.

"FLASHBACKS" and "the JOY of LAUGHING"

HeY there blog,

today started off with me waking up at 9am. Wonderful you bet, because since this is the holiday, i'm usually up at about..12pm? Well, these few days, i can't get to sleep on time AND i cannot seem to wake up earlier. HOPE my body is not adjusting to all these negative momentums.

AS examination is less than a month away and i've YET to prepare for my subjects-GP and BIOLOGY. GP is alright for me since i always listen to the BBC before i fall asleep; and there are these ample of standard essays given to us by the school- no doubt beneficial provided if one analyse each of the essays critically. It'd be great if i got an 'a' for GP. And then, there's Biology. It seems as if i can only pray for this subject. OH GOD, please help me. I'd love the guidance if you would help me. Biology, the subject which i failed in Olvl and the subject which i am neutral with currently. Why did i take Biology for my Alvl then? Simple; I have no plans for the future and taking as many subjects as i can would help me to -determine??- which major i can take in the future. That was my thought then.

Well anyways, let's leave that to fate.

So now, there is a belief that when a person laughs each time, his time on earth increases by a second. Cool huh? Well, me, i do not want to live too much in life; i dread the diseases when we grow old [like diabities, high blood pressure, heart failure, and even the issue of uncontrolable bladder]. But of course, i want to live life long enough to enjoy life to the maximum. I would love to taste life after retirement, play with my grandchildrens [ yeah them], and more than that, EXPLORE the world. I have always wanted to travel the world and unfortuntely there are only 2 countries which i have been to- Singapore and Nepal. After my Alvl, i KNOW that there is going to be a country added to my list of country visited. Well, as i as saying, laugh if u want to stay on Earth longer. Then maybe, you would be able to fufill things which you had always aspired to do. DARE TO DREAM!

BACK! with a BIG BANG!

Hey Blog,

seems like it's been ages since i last posted. Don't fret, cauze i'm back for good. Well, hopefully.

So, I have been busy with school and stuffs. And I'm just wondering where to get things started especially, since this is my final year in school. Turned 18 twelve days ago - finally the age of freedom- and seems like it really IS the time for me to mature up. It's not going to help me if I am to just continue what i am doing right now - SLACKING to be sepcific.

I want to be done with my Alvls as soon as possible and of course produce satisfactory results so that at least, it would be easier for me to enter into a good University. Who dosen't, right? So, i will be taking my Alvl papers this coming MAY/JUNE 2010 and after a year, hopefully, i will be in a country of my choice [America, Australia, UK, Japan, S.Korea, Singapore]. What i will major in will seriously depend on my results then. If i do well in my biology and chemistry, then i'm sure to go into medicine; and if i do well in my mathematics and physics, engineering would be my choice. What if i do well in GP?? Well, i do not know.

A thing i really wonder about is HOW everyone I know know will be in 10 years time. Of course there are aspiring doctors, engineers, businessman, entrepreneurs, soldiers, teachers, pilot etc that my various buddies are aiming for. But unfortunately, I myself have YET to decide what i want to do in the future. I seem to be the type of guy that lets nature take it's course- i really seem to fail in the section of planning. *SIGH* So 10 years down the road, maybe i can see some of my friends becoming MOMs and DADs or white-collared workers or even the boss of their own. How great would that be to see a variety of 'developed' friends then. PRICELESS, i would say.

And then, there's DASHAIN coming up in 2 days time. Doubt it's going to be as fun as last year, when i went to my village. Pratically, 80% of the members of my living family tree were present then. Oh well, i guess the good old days really do pass by quickly. Think about it, waiting for the future to arrive seems ever-long but HOWEVER, remembering the past seems like those happened only yesterday. Strange huh...
Next,
The Diverse World
People die each second and people are born every second. Predators feast on their preys and they too, breed and colonise. New gadgets are invented day after day, and companies are facing tougher challenges to stay at the top. The health industry are constantly faced with newer, fatal diseases and finding cures for the various diseases are ever-challenging. In the entertainment industry, people are trying their best to entertain the people world over. And the issue of growing world population has resulted in food shortages in parts of the world, worsened by the droughts. Natural disasters have challenged Man to pepare and counter for the worst. Sure Nature has threathened the lives of Man, but Nature has also no doubt created wonders for Man. Madgascar has the strangest of the ceatures living on Earth-about 75% of the species found here are found NOWHERE else on the planet. The work of nature has embellished creatures even the strangest of the strangest.
So,then, why are we destroying the place in which we all co-exist? Yes of course we interact directly OR indirectly with the various species of flora and fauna on the planet, but the question is, Do we have to interact with the outcome of endangering a precious species?-or even worse, extinct them.
Okay i seem to be drifting off a bit in the end BUT well, anyways, it is good practice for my GP after all.
TILL THE NEXT TIME
